Today we are going to present you the history of the iconic brand Cattelan Italia.
Giorgio Cattelan, founder of the brand, is the last of seven siblings and carries in his heart the scent of wood that he breathed in his father’s workshop, which has been able to pass on to his children with a love of materials and a passion for the art of furniture manufacturing.
Cattelan Italia was founded in 1979 by Giorgio and Silvia, who share a passion for art and design. The 2000s and the related globalization reward the work of the team capable of investing in research, quality, diversification and comfort. The collection expands by completing ambient, which speak the universal language of functional yet bold design.

Cattelan Italia, situated in more than 140 countries, has been able to renew its offerings by meeting the tastes of a sophisticated international audience.

The Skorpio model launched a new vision of the designer living room table, establishing itself as an icon of the modern living area. It is a continuous evolution the history of this product that has expanded its range of design tables to count as many as 9 versions. An extension that testifies to the creative vitality of a collection with a contemporary design that to date boasts, in addition to the crystal top, the Wood variants with a wood top, Keramik with a ceramic top and its declinations with a thick hand-brushed Keramik Premium edge or with a wood top and Ker-Wood Round ceramic insert. All the above finishes are also available in the Round variant, i.e., fascinating round designer tables.
