Minottiitalia was founded in 1961 in the heart of Brianza as an artisan company with classic roots, but from the beginning has demonstrated a unique ability to adapt to changes and evolutions of design and furniture. Her mission was to create emotions through design, a goal that has accompanied her through the various historical moments of the sector. The company has been able to innovate and keep up with trends, building a strong identity that has made it an internationally respected name.
From craft to industrial and contract
Minottiitalia has been able to evolve over time, transforming itself from a small artisan reality to a solid industrial reality, entering the contract world. The continuous participation in the Salone del Mobile of Milan from the beginning has allowed the company to be known first in Italy and then in the rest of the world. Research and design have always been at the center of its philosophy, constituting the strengths that have allowed Minottiitalia to obtain the international recognition it has today.
A global network and artisanal manufacturing
Thanks to a global distribution network formed by sales points and agents, Minottiitalia is present all over the world. The company is further consolidated thanks to the collaboration with international architects, who contribute to design unique and distinctive environments. Manufacturing is one of the most important aspects: every stage of the production process is monitored in the company’s laboratories with the help of highly specialized personnel, to guarantee excellent quality standards in each product.
Innovation in materials and sculptural design
Minottiitalia has constantly innovated in design, exploring new materials and shapes to create furniture with unique character. In addition to traditional wood products, the company has introduced metal castings, laser-processed iron plates, mirrors, crystals and gold and silver leaf coatings. The year 2001 marked a radical change, with the introduction of the 45 degree technique that gave furniture a strong personality and distinctive design. In the following years, the company has continued to evolve, creating more sculptural pieces with special workmanship and innovative materials, thanks also to the collaboration with designers who, besides being architects, are real sculptors. In 2020, the company is embarking on a new phase of renewal and evolution of its image, under the creative direction of the Milanese studio Studio14.
